Uckfield Carnival Childrens Procession and Uckfield Carnival Evening Procession

Temporary road closure to: Grange Road, New Town, Harcourt Road, Vernon Road, Selby Road, Framfield Road, High Street, Downsview Drive, London Road, Browns Lane, Southview Drive and Bell Lane.

 

Children's Procession 1.30pm  From Victoria Pleasure Ground followed by Children's Fancy Dress Competition...

Adult Fancy Dress Competition 6.30pm Elizabeth Gardens, Grange Road

 

Torchlight Procession 7.30pm Starts at Grange Road

Grand Torchlight Procession 9.00pm High Street

Bonfire Prayers 9.10pm High Street at the Church Street junction



 

 

NEWS

Uckfield Town Council Allotment Competition 2010

All allotment holders are automatically entered in to the Competition.  The judging took place on 20th July by an approved judge, who was impressed by the standard of the winning allotments. A points system was used and at one site there was only one point between the winner and runner up!

 

There are five allotment sites, with a winner at each site, plus an overall winner.

 

Cllr John Carvey, the Mayor, presented the prizes and certificates at the Uckfield and District Horticultural Society Summer Show on 21st August.
