RIDGEWOOD FARM PROJECT

The local community were invited to view initial proposals for a new neighbourhood on land at Ridgewood Farm, Uckfield. The development is being promoted by Welbeck Strategic Land, who have appointed a masterplanning team led by John Thompson & Partners (JTP), to draw up plans.

The consultation event was held over two days to give as many people as possible the chance to come along. Representatives from Welbeck Strategic Land, John Thompson & Partners and other consultants from the masterplanning design team were on hand to discuss the draft plans.

The team will now analyse feedback from the community and where appropriate amend the proposals to reflect suggestions made. There will be a further opportunity to comment on the masterplan before it is submitted for outline planning approval later in the year.
