

Allotments are provided to enable residents of Uckfield to have access to allotments where they can grow produce for their own consumption, whilst enjoying the social aspects of allotment


The Civic Centre was built in 1990 as a community resource and as an administration base for the Town Council.

The Council is committed to providing quality play areas and budgets annually to a rolling programme to upgrade equipment and fencing.
Foresters Hall, in Harcourt Road, Uckfield, comprises of a number of areas, which are, in the main leased, hired or rented out to a number of different groups and individuals.

The Town Council owns five bus shelters, one at Ringles Cross, two in the High Street, and one each in Eastbourne Road and Lewes Road.
Uckfield Town Council is the burial authority for the town of Uckfield, and the cemetery is situated in Snatts Road. The cemetery has a rural location, with many mature trees and shrubs within the northern side bordered by woodland.

The Town Council employs 3 full time grounds staff, who maintain all the open spaces owned by the Council within the Town.
