LUXFORDS RESTAURANT
Situated on the ground floor of Uckfield Civic Centre, Luxfords Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 4.30pm and before all Weald Hall events, serving meals, hot snacks and beverages. Luxfords also offers a take-away service. The Restaurant also has a bar with a full on-licence.
The Restaurant and kitchen has 3 full time staff and 8 part-time staff and is able to call upon a bank of casual staff for larger functions. All staff are trained in-house to high standards.
Luxfords Restaurant also provides a full in-house catering service for all events and functions at the Civic Centre and is able to provide everything from a sandwich buffet, finger or hot fork buffet for meetings or training days, or conference or party buffets, sit down dinners for wedding receptions or charity balls.
A Best Value review of Luxfords Restaurant was undertaken in 2004 and a number of changes were implemented to ensure that it remains competitive and will appeal to all sections of the local community.
The Restaurant is fully accessible to disabled people and to parents with small children. A number of highchairs are available and there is a “buggy park” where pushchairs and buggies can be safely stored during busy periods.
Throughout the year, the Restaurant has a number of themed menus, including Sussex Fayre, Mother Day,
St. Patrick’s Day and, of course, Christmas.
