SPORTS PITCHES AND PAVILIONS
The Council allocates pitches at the beginning of the season to various local football clubs, and in the cricket season cricket clubs. However, the pitches can still be let for one-off games. The football pitches are not let during the summer months to allow the Grounds Staff to renovate and repair the pitches. A Best Value review of Pitches and Pavilions was undertaken in 2003-2004.
