The Farmers market is held in Luxford Field car park on the first Saturday of every month

Art, Craft & Gift Market

Held on the first Saturday of every month (excluding January) at Uckfield Civic Centre from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.   A collection of art, craft and gift stalls where you can find that special something for any occasion. Please come and support your local artists, crafts people and small business entrepreneurs! Free admission. Uckfield FM

Uckfield’s very own local radio station is on air each year for most of July, to coincide with the Uckfield Festival.  Run entirely by volunteers, Uckfield FM broadcasts throughout each day it is on air, on 87.9FM and online at www.uckfieldfm.co.uk

Uckfield Carnival

The Carnival is on  the first Saturday in September, and is also when the funfair comes to Uckfield. The Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival Society holds its meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at Uckfield Civic Centre at 7.45pm and every is welcome to join. www.uckfieldcarnival.co.uk

Uckfield PHAB Club

Uckfield Phab club is a social club for people with and without disabilities.  The club meets fortnightly on Saturdays at The Community College Youth Club between 2.00 and 4.30, and is available to all age groups.  We can offer a wide range of activities, including arts & crafts, cookery, outings, creative workshops i.e. pottery, music, balloon workshops, animal workshops.  We also have a tuck shop, Nintendo's Wii, playstations, pool, air hockey, karaoke, but most of all it is a place where people can meet and enjoy each others company. Unfortunately if you need care, you carer will have to stay with you, but they will be most welcome.  Our our volunteers have had enhanced CRB checks and reference checks.   For further details, please phone Janine Williams on 01825 749826 or email janine.williams@phab.org.uk

Active 4 Life

Active 4 Life is a programme of FREE dance and movement sessions to music that aim to get older people more active in Uckfield. Sessions focus on improving balance, mobility and general fitness of the participants, but the exercises can be done either standing or in a chair, catering for most levels of mobility and fitness. The eight month project which launched in April, will take place Grants Hill Sheltered Housing Scheme. Don't forget that all sessions are FREE, just turn up to any of the sessions!
