This year’s photographic competition for entries into the 2021 Uckfield calendar is all about your funny photographs and the captions that go with them. We will all need cheering up by 2021 so start thinking about your Uckfield photographs that fit the bill. We have extended the closing date to 31 August to give you extra time to get your entries in. So get snapping when you can!
The competition to find the 12 pictures to be featured in the calendar, showing ‘Uckfield at Work, Rest and Play’ ran from 1st January 2019 to 16th August 2019. The competition was open to amateur photographers of all ages who live within the Town and a maximum of two entries per person.
A panel comprised of the Town Mayor, Judith Stewart (a Sussex Photographic Federation Judge) and Ron Hill (Ron Hill Photographic) select the winning entries. The winning entries will be announced here soon.
Winning entries will be used in Uckfield Town Council’s 2020 Calendar which is delivered to every home in the Town at the beginning of December 2019, and displayed in the Civic Centre. They may also be used on the Town Council’s website, in “The Voice” and other ad hoc publications.
