There were 23 applications received through the Town Council’s Community Grant Programme for the financial year 2021-22.
On 8 March 2021, General Purposes Committee reviewed the recommended community grant allocations for 2021-22 put forward by the Finance Sub-Committee at their meeting on 15 February 2021. General Purposes Committee considered the application submitted by Wealden Citizen’s Advice and decided how to allocate the funds that were still remaining. A decision was taken and members approved the allocation of £27,500 of grant funding to local community groups and organisations, £18,900 to the Wealden Citizen’s Advice and £8,000 to the Uckfield Volunteer Centre.
All applicants will receive formal notice of the decision taken by Uckfield Town Council. If you are successful in being awarded grant funding for 2021/22, payments will be made in May and October 2021 (one payment is made in May if it is a smaller amount of grant funding, two instalments are made across May and October if a larger sum has been awarded).

The Finance Sub-Committee reviewed 21 applications for grant funding to Uckfield Town Council for the financial year of 2020/21. The grants were awarded to 21 local voluntary groups and organisations as below.
