East Sussex County Council has advised us of the following overnight road closures of the A22 Uckfield Bypass:
So as not to interfere with any late night shopping that may take place, the A22 Uckfield Bypass will not be closed until 2100h to allow shoppers time to disperse from Uckfield town centre.
Due to the recent poor weather conditions, these additional overnight closures are necessary to help ensure the agreed construction programme is kept on schedule.
The variable message signs to keep drivers informed will be updated accordingly.
