Fly Tipping in Uckfield

With the closure of the recycling centres and the temporary cessation of bulky waste collections, people may be tempted to get rid of their recycling and bulky waste by fly tipping. Uckfield Town Council would like to ask residents to resist the urge to fly tip during this time.

Town Clerk Holly Goring explained: “Our grounds staff have seen a few incidents of fly tipping around Uckfield. In these unprecedented times, we are all in the same position. I would ask people to be considerate and as soon as the household waste centres are open again we will be able to safely dispose of our waste.”
