The fabulous Weald on the Field event is taking place on Luxford Field, Uckfield on Saturday 12 August from 11.00am until 7.00pm. The free event is fun for all the family with local artisan crafts and food, street food, and pop-up bars. Add to that children’s entertainment and live music from local bands and you have a great day out for all the family.
The music line-up
The live music begins at 12noon and we have a very talented line up which should offer something for everyone to get their feet moving. Headlining the event this year is The Kavemen – they topped the Hastings Beer & Music Festival stage in 2022, and are regularly seen performing at venues across East Sussex with a wide mix of cover songs from rock and roll to a little bit of pop and snap in the mix. They will make sure your hands clap and your feet tap!
The full line-up is as follows:
12:00 The Management Duo – Dudley and Mike. Each with 20 years’ experience as rock musicians playing around the world! Playing mostly singer/songwriter material from the 60s and 70s.
13:00 Pentacle Drummers – Returning for a second year, we bring you the Lords of the Earthen Drums. Based in Eastbourne they are a fantastic drumming group ready to entertain the crowds.
13:30 Midnight Cannonball – Acoustic Duo
14:30 Pentacle Drummers
15:00 Dynamite – One of the finest cover bands in Sussex
16:30 All Their Kings Fall – All Their Kings Fall are a five piece rock band based in Crowborough and started life 12 months pre lockdown, and after a short hiatus came back with a fresh line-up in 2022. Performing live at The Forum and the White Rock Theatre they have released a few songs on download and continue to write and perform original songs along with those classic covers given their own vibe.
