Uckfield Town Council, in partnership with Manor Park & Hempstead Fields Residents’ Association and the Allotment Working Group, is delighted to announce the start of an Uckfield Scarecrow Competition for all residents and businesses of the town.
Previously, the Scarecrow Competition was restricted to entries from active holders of Uckfield Town Council-owned allotment plots, but for 2025, the idea was raised of expanding this to the entire town.
The Uckfield Town Mayor, Cllr. Karen Bedwell, has been instrumental in making this change happen.
Alongside Uckfield Town Council’s Environment & Leisure Clerk, Rachel Newton, and Peter Griggs, Secretary of the Manor Park & Hempstead Fields Residents’ Association, Cllr. Bedwell has led the organisation of the Competition over the last few months.
Now, we are delighted to invite entries from all residents within the town via our Application Form.
