Uckfield West By-Election – Statement of Persons Nominated
A Statement of the Persons Nominated for the upcoming Uckfield Town Council By-Election in the Uckfield West ward has been released.
Wealden District Council, as the local authority responsible for elections, invited nominations for the By-Election until Friday 31 July 2026.
Following this period, the District Council have confirmed that two individuals have been successfully nominated to stand in the By-Election, which will be held on Thursday 27 August 2026.

Important information
Eligible (registered) voters in the Uckfield West ward will receive polling cards to their home address in the coming weeks.
The first batch of poll cards is due to be sent on Friday 7 August, with the second batch being sent on Friday 14 August.
Postal votes will be sent by first class mail on Friday 14 August.
