Southview Drive Roadworks Update – 22.09.2026
We have been informed that an emergency work permit has been issued to fix a collapsed sewer in the vicinity of the junction of Lime Close and Southview Drive.
These works will be carried out by contractors Cappagh Browne on behalf of the presiding authority, Southern Water.
These works will commence today (Monday 21st September), and could last up to three weeks. The work permit issued has requested that the temporary traffic lights are manned from 7.00am until 7.00pm to be able to effectively manage traffic movements at peak times, and the permit allows extended working hours to include Saturdays to try and get the work completed as soon as possible.
We understand that four-way temporary traffic lights will be set up at Lime Close, Beeches Close, and either side on Southview Drive.
We are seeking further information and will offer further updates when we are able to.
