Pump Track Trial Extended – and Have Your Say
Uckfield Town Council is delighted to announce that the temporary ‘World Cup’ Pump Track trial at Victoria Pleasure Ground has been extended to Monday 2nd November 2026.
This extension has been secured following overwhelmingly positive feedback from families using the facility, and to make up for the inclement weather that put a damper on the first weekend of the trial.
The site will now be open until sunset on Monday 2nd November, before the track is removed on Tuesday 3rd November.
We would like to extend a big thank you to our pump track supplier, Dirt Factory, for working with us to secure this extension.
Our on-site café, Little Luxfords, will also be open from 9am to 3pm on Friday. Please note that the café will be closed at the weekend.

While the Pump Track is active at Victoria Pleasure Ground, we are seeking the views of users – and those who are unable to attend – on the track’s successes and limitations.
Feedback will help shape the future of our provision of outdoor facilities in the town, which we hope to expand in time.
This is always dependent on the funding we have available and funds we can draw on from various grants, and starts with us making a case for additional facilities and resources.
