Christmas Opening Hours – 2025-26

Over Christmas and New Year, the Uckfield Town Council offices, the Civic Centre Uckfield and Luxfords Restaurant will be operating on reduced opening hours as staff take their holidays.

The Civic Centre Uckfield and Luxford Restaurant will close after service on Christmas Eve. This will be at the earlier time of 2pm, with last orders at 1:30pm for Luxfords Restaurant customers.

The Civic Centre and Luxfords Restaurant will then be open at the following times over the festive period:

Thursday 25th December – Closed

Friday 26th December – Closed

Saturday 27th December – Closed

Sunday 28th December – Closed

Monday 29th December – 10am to 2pm

Tuesday 30th December – 10am to 2pm

Wednesday 31st December – 10am to 2 pm

Thursday 1st January – Closed

Friday 2nd January – 9:30am to 3pm

Saturday 3rd January – 8:30am to 3pm

Sunday 4th January – Closed

The Town Council’s grounds staff will be working on a rota system to ensure litter collections continue over the  Christmas break and any urgent matters are addressed.

The Town Council offices will close at 3:00pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on Monday 5 January at 9:00am. Our main office email account (admin@uckfieldtc.gov.uk) will be monitored over the Christmas break in case of any urgent issues.
