Martin Grant Homes Consultation

A public consultation for residents of Uckfield and Framfield commences today (Thursday 13 November 2025), regarding a proposal for up to 215 homes at the site known as Bird in Eye North.

This consultation is being delivered by housing developers, Martin Grant Homes.

The consultation phase takes place in advance of the developers submitting a planning application to the local planning authority, Wealden District Council.

Access to the site is proposed off Bird in Eye Hill, and the application seeks to deliver up to 215 homes, plus a SANG (suitable alternative natural greenspace).

The consultation runs until Wednesday, 3 December 2025.
