    East Sussex County Council Elections – Thursday 7th May 2026

    On Thursday, 7th May 2026, elections will take place for all 50 seats on East Sussex County Council (ESCC).

    This will be the first election to take place for all ESCC seats since 2021, after the scheduled 2025 election was postponed.

    Which ward am I in?

    Within Uckfield Parish, there are two ESCC wards that will be contested in this election. These are Uckfield North, and Uckfield South with Framfield.

    The following candidates are standing for election in Uckfield North:

    How can I vote?

    As long as you are on the electoral register, you should have received your voting card for the upcoming ESCC election. This will inform you of which ward you will be voting for and where your nearest polling station is.

    Voters are advised to attend the polling station listed on their poll card and, under electoral laws, are required to bring a form of photo ID with them. A list of acceptable forms of photo ID is available here: https://www.gov.uk/how-to-vote/photo-id-youll-need

    Polling stations will be open between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00pm on Thursday, 7th May 2026.
