Weald on the Field, Wealden’s largest free family festival, returns for a highly-anticipated 10th–year edition on Saturday, 9th August 2025.
The community festival, organised by Uckfield Town Council, promises an excellent line-up of live music, local food and drink retailers and children’s entertainment to mark its special occasion.
Including returning favourites and brand-new headliners, Weald on the Field 2025 offers something for everyone.
That includes first-time attendees, with the festival welcoming all audiences from Uckfield, Wealden and beyond to Luxford Field for the summertime celebration.
The heart of the festival is always the main stage, and Uckfield Town Council is delighted to welcome a brand-new Airstream III stage as the host for five fantastic acts.
This nifty, eye-catching set-up will first welcome acoustic duo The Management, who are making a triumphant fifth appearance at Weald on the Field.
After outstanding sets in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023, the pair have made Luxford Field their own with their easy-going brand of rock and pop covers.
That flows perfectly into the iconic Carnaby Brothers, whose 1960s-focused set wowed audiences in 2024, capturing the essence of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and others perfectly.
Repeat Offenders have stepped in as a late replacement act in the mid-afternoon slot this year, and we are so excited to welcome them.
Based between Portsmouth and Brighton, the band, fronted by Adam Ede, are a brilliant rock and pop-punk covers outfit who are set to perform at Victorious Festival later this month.
Building into the evening, 2019 headliners The Midnight Project are back for a spectacular evening of rock and pop covers, covering everything from the 1980s to the modern day.
Then, the festival’s headliners are the locally-based outfit, Dynamite.
Another firm favourite of Weald on the Field audiences, Dynamite wowed audiences in the afternoon slot in 2024 and are sure to deliver a standout set at the top of the bill.
Fronted by iconic vocalist Laura, Sussex’s finest party rock band will whip the crowd into a frenzy.

Interval performances will also come from Dominic Uppiah, with soul, Motown, and reggae hits from across the decades to keep audiences full of energy throughout.
Away from the Airstream stage, Weald on the Field 2025 offers plenty of other family entertainment across Luxford Field.
From 11am, the festival opens with a jam-packed array of stalls, covering everything from food and drink to crafts and community engagement projects.
Children’s entertainment comes in the form of teacup rides and bungee jumps, while the ever-popular Luxford Field Play Area – managed by Uckfield Town Council – is only ever a stroll away!
Facepainting, sand art, and other creative stalls all offer plenty of engaging activities for the afternoon.
Weald on the Field would not be complete without its dizzying array of food and drink options.
This year, the reinstated Uckfield Farmers Market has partnered with the festival to ensure many of its stallholders are appearing, while other options include Greek, Nepalese and Mexican street food stands.
Sweet treats come in the form of fudge, waffles and cinnamon buns, while the options to wash it all down are bigger and better than ever, with local ales, cider, a rum cocktail bar, a gin bar, wine from a local vineyard and plenty of soft drinks.
Uckfield Town Council are delighted to confirm that this year’s Weald on the Field once again offers free public parking.
Attendees are advised to use the Uckfield Station car park, where all parking fees have been waived for the day courtesy of APCOA and Network Rail.
There are 171 spaces at Uckfield Station car park, while the walk to the festival site from Uckfield Station is just 0.3 miles if arriving by train.
Uckfield High Street is served by Brighton & Hove Buses’ Regency 29 and 29B services from Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and Hailsham, while the 31 and 261 Compass Bus services, and the 54 Stagecoach bus can drop passengers just a short walk from Luxford Field.
