Full-time permanent position
Salary: SCP 5 (£25,583 per annum)
37 hours per week

Luxfords Restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the Civic Centre, Uckfield. Centrally positioned between the High Street and Luxford Field, the Civic Centre’s location in the heart of Uckfield, makes it a great place for local residents and businesses.
The Civic Centre holds seven meeting rooms which are available to hire with or without catering, an annual events programme in our Weald Hall, and Luxfords Restaurant.
We are looking for someone who is keen to make a great first impression, with both our customers and the team, to ensure day to day service provision is seamless. Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, you will have experience (either past or present) in a supervisory capacity, and have strong skills in written and verbal communication to be able to lead and motivate the front of house and kitchen teams. You’ll oversee our day to day restaurant operations and any additional catered functions or events.
Presentable, and with close attention to detail you will be well organised and able to plan ahead. Successful candidates will be passionate about good customer care and be enthusiastic in putting forward ideas for new initiatives and ways to increase footfall and generate more income.
