Over the Christmas period, Uckfield Town Council offices, the Civic Centre Uckfield and Luxfords Restaurant will all be operating on reduced opening hours as staff take their holidays.
These reduced hours begin on Saturday 23 December 2023, as Uckfield Town Council’s offices will be fully closed from 4.00pm the previous evening (Friday 22 December 2023) until reopening on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
The Civic Centre and Luxfords Restaurant will also close after service on Saturday 23 December 2023, with the building being closed to the public from 3.00pm onwards.
The building will be closed in all three areas on 24 December, 25 December and 26 December in line with other businesses across the country.
The Civic Centre and Luxfords Restaurant will then open on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December with reduced opening hours of 10.00am-2.00pm, but will be closed again on 30 December, 31 December 2023 and 1 January 2024.
Both the Civic Centre and Luxfords Restaurant then reopen with normal opening hours (9.30am-3.00pm) on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Uckfield Town Council’s grounds staff will be working on a rota system to ensure litter collections continue over the Christmas break and any urgent matters are addressed.
Our main office email account (admin@uckfieldtc.gov.uk) will be monitored over the Christmas break, should any urgent issues arise.
