Wealden District Council have announced the dates of bin collections over the Christmas period, outlined in the attached calendar (right).

Between Wednesday, 27 December and Saturday, 6 January, collections will be two days later than they normally would be for residents.

Please note that the collections normally scheduled for Friday, 29 December and Friday, 5 January will be on Tuesday, 2 January and Monday, 8 January respectively.

From Tuesday, 9 January to Saturday 13 January, collections will be one day later than they normally would be.

Normal collections then resume from Monday, 15 January 2024.

As the District Council are not producing physical copies of Waste and Recycling Collection Calendars or bin hangers with the Christmas collection dates on, we ask that, where possible, residents keep digital copies or print out physical versions at home.

For those unable to do so, we will have some copies available in A5 format in The Civic Centre Uckfield, both in the foyer and outside the Town Council office upstairs.

Wealden District Council are also producing advertisements in December editions of Uckfield Matters and the Sussex Express which will have all the dates included.
